COMPRENDE LAS SIGUIENTES OPERACIONES: PRIMERA, EN UNA PRIMERA FASE REACCIONA EL ISOSORBIDE CON EL CLORURO DE P-NITROBENZOILO EN EL SENO DE UN DISOLVENTE ORGANICO COMO TETRAHIDROFURANO O CLORURO DE METILENO Y EN PRESENCIA DE PIRIDINA O TRIETILAMINA, PARA OBTENER EL ISOSORBIDE-2-P-NITROBENZOATO, DE FORMULA (II); SEGUNDA, EL PRODUCTO OBTENIDO ENLA PRIMERA FASE REACCIONA EN UNA SEGUNDA FASE CON ACIDO NITRICO EN EL SENO DE UN ACIDO ACETICO, ANHIDRIDO ACETICO O UNA MEZCLA PROPORCIONADA DE LOS MISMOS, PARA OBTENER EL ISOSORBIDE-2-P-NITROBENZOATO-5-NITRATO, DE FORMULA (III); Y POR ULTIMO, EL PRODUCTO OBTENIDO EN LA SEGUNDA ETAPA SE HACE REACCIONAR CON HIDROXIDO SODICO O POTASICO, PARA OBTENER EL PRODUCTO FINAL. *FORMULA*.
