CONSISTE EN EFECTUAR UN REVESTIMIENTO POR MEDIO DE UN PROCESO EN FASE GASEOSA, EMPLEANDOSE PARA ELLO UN SUBSTRATO DE UNA ALEACION QUE CONTIENE NIQUEL Y TITANIO, SOMETIENDO DICHO SUBSTRATO A UN TRATAMIENTO PREVIO. EL PROCESO DE DEPOSICION, SE REALIZA EN UNA FASE GASEOSA QUE CONTIENE TITANIO A UNA TEMPERATURA SUPERIOR A 800 C Y CON PARTICIPACION DEL MATERIAL DEL SUBSTRATO. EL TRATAMIENTO PREVIO LLEVA LA SUPERFICIE DEL SUBSTRATO A UNA ASPEREZA DE APROXIMADAMENTE 1 ~LM. COMO GAS DE REACCION SE EMPLEA TETRACLORURO DE TITANIO, EL CUAL ESTA PRESENTE EN UNA CONCENTRACION DE APROXIMADAMENTE 1% EN VOLUMEN EN LA ATMOSFERA GASEOSA.
