CONSISTE EN LA REACCION DEL 3-MERCAPTO-1,2,4-TRIAZOL CON CLORURO DE BENCILO, EN PRESENCIA DE METOXIDO SODICO COMO CATALIZADOR, EN METANOL A LA TEMPERATURA DE REFLUJO DE LA MEZCLA; SEGUIDA DE LA REACCION DEL PRODUCTO OBTENIDO CON PEROXIDO DE HIDROGENO AL 30% EN ACIDO ACETICO GLACIAL A LA TEMPERATURA DE EBULLICION DE LA MEZCLA; Y, FINALMENTE, REACCION CON CLORURO DE DIETILCARBAMOILO EN PIRIDINA, A LA TEMPERATURA AMBIENTE. ESTE COMPUESTO TIENE APLICACIONES EN AGRICULTURA COMO HERBICIDA.
