LA CORROSION DE LA PELICULA DE ALUMINIO DE LA PANTALLA DE IMAGEN, COMO RESULTADO DE UNA REACCION ELECTROQUIMICA ENTRE AGUA Y ALUMINIO, SE EVITA SUSTANCIALMENTE PROPORCIONANDO AL ALUMINIO, DURANTE LA FABRICACION DEL TUBO, UNA CAPA DE FOSFATO DE ALUMINIO EN LA ZONA EN QUE ESTA UNIDO A LAS PARTICULAS DE CARBONO. EL PROCEDIMIENTO PARA ELLO CONSISTE EN REMOJAR O PULVERIZAR LAS PARTICULAS DE CARBONO CON UNA DISOLUCION DE ACIDO FOSFORICO DE COMO MAXIMO 2% DE PESO EN AGUA, ANTES O DESPUES DE DISPONER LA PELICULA DE ALUMINIO.
