Abstract
PURPOSE: To inexpensively form color-formed bright film in one process by subjecting Al (alloy) to electrolysis treatment under the specific conditions in the specific alkali electrolysis bath containing trisodium phosphate.
CONSTITUTION: When Al (alloy) base is subjected to electrolysis treatment under the conditions of bath temperatures 10W70°C and current densities 0.5W59A/dm2 by using the alkali electrolysis bath containing trisodium phosphate at ratios of 10W 500g/l; NaOH, KOH or Mg(OH)2 0.1W50g/l; organic acids, inorganic acids or their salts 50W500g/l, the color-formed film having high brightness may be directly formed on the base surface. Further the use of an alkali bath as the electrolysis bath permits the use of inexpensive equipment materials and jig materials.
