CONSISTE EN LA REACCION DE UN ACIDO DE FORMULA (II), EN LA QUE LA FUNCION AMINA SE HA PROTEGIDO, O UN DERIVADO REACTIVO DEL MISMO, CON UNA AMINO-7 CEFALOSPORINA DE FORMULA (III), EN LAS QUE R PUEDEN SER UNO DE VARIOS RADICALES; N VALE 0 O 1; R Y R SON LOS MISMOS QUE EN LA FORMULA (I). LA REACCION SE EFECTUA EN UN DISOLVENTE ORGANICO, EN PRESENCIA DE UN AGENTE DE CONDENSACION, DE UN ACEPTOR DE ACIDO O DE UNA TRIALQUILAMINA A UNA TEMPERATURA ENTRE -40<025>C Y 40<025>C.
