CONSISTE EN LA REACCION DE CONDENSACION DE 2,6-DIMETOXIFENOL CN CLORAL ANHIDRO, SEGUIDA DE LA REACCION DE LA DISOLUCION ACUOSA DEL PRODUCTO OBTENIDO, EN CALIENTE, CON UN METABISULFITO DE METAL ALCALINO O ALCALINOTERREO, Y FINALMENTE, AMINACION REDUCTORA DEL COMPUESTO FORMADO, POR TRATAMIENTO EN DOS ETAPAS, CON METALAMINA, A PRESIONES ENTRE 50 Y 60 ATM. DE HIDROGENO, EN PRESENCIA DE NIQUEL RANEY, A UNA TEMPERATURA ENTRE 60 Y 80 GRADOS CENTIGRADOS. ESTE COMPUESTO TIENE APLICACIONES FARMACOLOGICAS POR SUS PROPIEDADES ANTIIPOTENSORAS.
