CONSISTE EN APORTAR A UN CLINKER DE PORTLAND ARTIFICIAL ALUMINA HIDRATADA EN CANTIDAD SUFICIENTE PARA QUE LA CAL QUE SE LIBERA DURANTE LA HIDRATCION DEL CLINKER SE COMBINE TOTALMENTE DESDE SU FORMACION CON LA ALUMINA, POR LO QUE NO SE DETECTA EN EL CEMENTO RASTRO ALGUNO DE CA(OH)2, QUE EN SU MOMENTO PUEDE TRANSFORMARSE EN CAO Y DAR LUGAR A UNA ABSORCION DE AGUA QUE PROVOQUE UN HINCHAMIENTO Y DETERIORIZACION EN LA ESTRUCTURA EN QUE SE EMPLEE. LA ALUMINA EMPLEADA ES TRIHIDRATO DE ALUMINA Y TANTO ELLA COMO EL CLIKER SE TRITURAN PREVIAMENTE. EL AGLOMERANTE FABRICADO ADMITE ADITIVOS TALES COMO FLUIDIFICANTES, PLASTIFICANTES, REDUCTORES DE AGUA O SULFATO DE CALCIO Y SIMILARES.
