PROCEDIMIENTO DE PREPARACION DE TABLETAS MEDICINALES CON LIBERACION RETARDADA DEL AGENTE ACTIVO.CONSISTE EN AJUSTAR LA VELOCIDAD DE LIBERACION DEL MEDICAMENTO O AGENTE ACTIVO, DURANTE EL PROCESODE GRANULACION, MEDIANTE EL EMPLEO DE PLASTICOS DE POLIMETACRILATO INSOLUBLES EN AGUA NEUTRA O LIGERAMENTE ACIDA, Y LA INTRODUCCION DE UN ESTER DE ACIDO GRASO, ANTES DE QUE SE COMPRIMAN LAS TABLETAS. COMO SUSTANCIAS MATRICES RETARDANTES SE EMPLEAN: COPOLOMERIZADO DE ACIDO ACRILICO Y METACRILICO O DE METACRILICO Y ESTER DE METILO DEL MISMO, CON CARACTER ANIONICO; COPOLIMERIZADO DE METILO Y ESTERES DE ETILO DE ACIDO ACRILICO Y METACRILICO; ACEITE DE CASTOR O RICINO HIDROGENADO O ACEITE DE SEMILLAS DE ALGODON HIDROGENADO.
