Abstract

A rifle grenade comprising a fragmentable body of revolution (1) with a front part (9) which has means for removably fixed a head fuse (10). A tubular member 3 carrying a vane assembly 5 extends within the body and is secured on the rearward part thereof. The front part of the tubular member comprises an armour-plating casing means 4. A one-piece explosive charge 8 is disposed in the space between the body, tubular member and head fuse. This grenade is particularly compact and is of reduced length compared with known grenades, which facilitates its handling.
