Abstract

Un método para ligar materiales tales como aridos para formar artículos configurados que comprende: a) someter a reacción de condensación un fenol de fórmula general: **(Fórmula)** donde A, B y C son hidrógeno, radicales hidrocarbonados, radicales oxihidrocarbonados o halógeno, con un aldehído de fórmula general R''CHO, donde R'' es hidrógeno o un radical hidrocarbonado de 1 a 8 átomos de carbono para obtener una resina fenólica; b) aplicar al material que se desea ligar, en cualquier orden, una emulsión acuosa de la resina fenólica, un componente endurecedor constituido por un poliisocianato liquido que contiene por lo menos dos grupos isocianato, y un agente de fraguado constituido por una amina terciaria o un ión metálico que pueden adicionarse antes o después de la etapa c); c) configurar el material en la forma deseada; y d) permitir que fragüe la composición ligante.
