Abstract

1. Un método para la preparación de un extracto de Stephania cepharantha, útil en terapia, especialmente como agente bacterioestático, antiflogístico y antálgico, cuyo método comprende: a) secar en una estufa a la temperatura adecuada los tallos de dicha planta; b) moler los tallos secos procedentes de la etapa anterior; c) extraer los tallos molidos procedentes de la etapa anterior con un disolvente como mínimo, seleccionado del grupo formado por agua, alcoholes, cetonas, ésteres, éteres hidrocarburos, hidrocarburos halogenados y mezclas de los mismos, utilizándose aproximadamente 1 litro de disolvente por cada 3 a 150 g. de tallos secos molidos; d) recuperar el extracto procedente de la etapa anterior por evaporación a sequedad a presión reducida de la solución obtenida.
