Abstract

Un método para fabricar un dispositivo profiláctico de poliuretano termoplástico, comprendiendo dicho dispositivo un cuerpo delgado de material de poliuretano termoplástico sustancialmente homogéneo que tiene una porción principal sustancialmente cilíndrica que se cierra en un extremo, facilitando dicha porción cilíndrica una pared de grosor sustancialmente uniforme, caracterizado dicho método porque comprende la operación de deformar una lámina de olastómero de poliuretano al vacío y a una temperatura comprendida entre 400- 500ºF. (2044-260ºC), con un mandril preformado, por lo que dicho elastómero de poliuretano asume la forma de dicho mandril y se forma así un dispositivo profiláctico de poliuretano que tiene una porción principal sustancialmente cilíndrica y una pared de grosor sustancialmente uniforme.
