Abstract

1. Método y máquina para el tratamiento de materias vegetales forrajeras con miras a su conservación con el alto contenido de humedad, especialmente para la obtención de unidades de forraje en conserva dispuestas para su consumo, directo, caracterizado porque la materia vegetal, preferentemente acondicionada mediante una operación de picado y/o lacerado, es comprimida hasta obtener una torta compacta, en orden a reducir el volumen de aire ocluido en la misma y, potestativamente, a extraer parte de la fracción liquida de la materia vegetal, tras lo cual dicha torta en envasada herméticamente en un recipiente impermeable a los fluidos, donde, es condiciones de temperatura y de atmósfera controladas, se le conduce al desarrollo de una fermentación orientada a la consecución de una conservación por largo tiempo de la materia vegetal, con un alto contenido de humedad, y de una aptitud para el consumo directo de dicha materia vegetal al extraerla del recipiente impermeable.
