Abstract

Procedimiento de precarga del electrodo negativo de acumuladores niquel-cadmio alcalinos, cuyos electrodos se montan en estado al menos parcialmente descargados, caracterizado porque antes de la primera carga del acumulador se introduce allí una cantidad calculada de un producto irreversiblemente oxidable en medio alcalino sin desprendimiento gaseoso, a un potencial tal que se oxide anódicamente antes del hidróxido de niquel, y después porque el acumulador se carga normalmente.
