Abstract

Un método de almacenar energía calorífica en forma de calor de fusión en un aparato híbrido de almacenamiento de calor que consiste en un primer y un segundo materiales que tienen diferentes temperaturas de fusión y diferentes densidades, siendo dichos materiales no miscibles en sus estados líquidos, caracterizado porque cuando se extrae calor del aparato de almacenamiento de calor, el primer material, que tiene la temperatura de fusión inferior, es llevado a contacto directo de intercambio de calor con el segundo material, al cual esta esencialmente en estado líquido por el hecho de hacer que las gotitas del primer material, que tiene una temperatura inferior a la temperatura de fusión del segundo material, pasen a través del segundo material, con lo que las gotitas del primer material se calientan y se pueden utilizar para ceder el calor en un circuito exterior mientras el segundo material se está esencialmente en estado sólido, tras lo cual las gotitas del primer material, que tiene unatemperatura mayor que la temperatura de fusión del segundo material, son hechas pasar a través de los canales de flujo, con lo que el segundo material existente alrededor de los canales de flujo es hecho fundirse por intercambio de calor directo.
