Abstract

PURPOSE: To improve a heat exchanging efficiency, by locating a heat accumulating container so that it can rotate in a heat accumulating bath.
CONSTITUTION: Fins 5 are projectedly located at equiangularly spaced positions on a circumference surface of a central part of a heat accumulating container proper 1, and projections 6 are provided at a center of upper and lower covers 2 and 3. The heat accumulting container constituted as afforesaid is placed in a heat accumulating bath so that it can be rotatably supported with the projections 6. With this constitution, the heat accumulating container rotates slowly in the heat accumulating bath with the fins 5 pressed by flow pressure produced as a result of circulation flow of a heat medium, and an excessive cooling of a heat accumulating material comprising gas hydrate, contained in the container proper 1, can easily be overcome. For the duration of solidifying, the inside starts to solidify in various places due to a secondary core forming action, and a heat is uniformly generated as a result of promoting the homogenization of the solid and liquid. Meantime, for the duration of melting, a rapid melting is performed as a result of promoting the solid and liquid to be brough in contact with each other. An effective and smooth heat exchanging can thus be performed during both solidifying and melting.
