Abstract

Un método para formar un artículo no refractario, infiltrado, monolítico y configurado, a partir de una configuración moldeada, que comprende una mezcla de partículas metálicas esféricas, no refractarias, que están metalúrgicamente integradas por sus puntos de contacto contiguos en forma de un esqueleto, y una segunda fase continua de metal, caracterizado por la combinación nueva de operaciones de calentar una mezcla de polvo metálico esférico no refractario y aglomerante orgánico fugaz, que comprende un material termoplástico por encima de la temperatura de reblandecimiento de dicho aglomerante.
