Abstract

Procedimiento para preparar prepolímeros a base de silicatos alcalinos y/o alcalinotérreos y óxidos metálicos, caracterizado por hacerse prerreaccionar en el intervalo de temperatura de 10 a 50ºc una mezcla de silicatos alcalinos y/o alcalinotérreos sólidos y/o disueltos en agua, eventualmente con adición supletoria de agua, y de óxidos metálicos divalentes hasta tetravalentes, siendo en la mezcla de prerreacción la relación de óxido metálico a silicato de 1:1 a 1:9 partes en peso de substancia/seca y presentando la mezcla homogeneizada un contenido de agua de 10 a 50% en peso respecto a la cantidad total de la mezcla, manteniendo el tratamiento hasta que el contenido de agua de la mezcla se haya reducido en 0,1 a 25% en peso y se obtenga un producto suficientemente secoviscoso para el desmenuzamiento, desmenuzarse éste y a continuación calentarse a temperaturas hasta 120ºC hasta que el prepolímero resultante presente un contenido de agua de 20 a 2% e peso.
