Abstract

Procedimiento de fabricación de una aleación a base de níquel, cromo, carbono y eventualmente hierro, dotada de buenas propiedades mecánicas, buena soldabilidad, una elevada resistencia a la fluencia y a la oxidacion, especialmente a alta temperatura, y un agran resistencia a la carburación, caracterizada porque los contenidos en peso de carbono, níquel y cromo son elegidos respectivamente entre: carbono 0,05 a 0,60%, níquel 20 a 55%, cromo 15 a 40%, y porque se introduce en dicha aleación los siguientes elementos con los contenidos correspondientes silicio 0,5 a 2% manganeso 0,5 a 2%, nitrógeno 0,03 a 0,20%, niobio 0 a 2%; tongetano y/o molibdeno 0 a 5%, aluminio 2 a 8%., cobre 0 a 5 % hierro e impurezas habituales en cantidades lo mas bajas posibles (porcentaje complementario), siendo susceptible la citada aleación de adquirir un aumento de resistencia a la carburación por formación, durante un servicio o mediante un tratamiento previo a la puerta en servicio, de una zona o capa que constituye un obstáculo a la penetración del carbono.
