Abstract
Procedimiento para la obtención de perlas esféricas de un hidrogel insoluble en agua, reticulado, sensiblemente unitarias, con hasta un tamaño de 5mm de diámetro, obtenido por polimerización en suspensión de (A) un 95-30% en peso del hidrogel procedente de un monómero, monoolefínico, soluble en agua o de una mezcla de estos monómeros solubles en agua u de un 0-70% en peso, referido a la cantidad total de monómeros, de monómeros insolubles en agua, con la condición de que el hidrogel final no contenga más del 60% en peso de compuestos monómeros insolubles en agua, con (B) 5 a 70% en peso del hidrogel de un agente reticulador poliolefínico, en presencia de un iniciador de la plimerización en una solución concentrada acuosa de una sal inorgánica, caracterizado porque la polimerización se efectua en suspensión con un monómero mono-olefínico, el cual contiene al menos un 5% en peso del monómero total de un monómero de vinilo hidrófilo, hidroxi-sustituido, empleándose como agente reticulador un macrómero poliolefínico con un peso molecular de 400 a 8000 y como medio de suspensión un 0,01 a 5% en peso, basado en el hidrogel, de dióxidos metálicos, o sales de dióxidos metálicos, insolubles en agua, de tipo gelatina, fuertemente retenedores de agua, inorgánicos, bajo ausencia de alcali en exceso o de hidrosiliones libres.
