Abstract

Un método para separar una preparación de factor IX a partir de plasma, caracterizado por poner en contacto plasma de sangre líquida a un pH de aproximadamente 7,5 a aproximadamente 8,5 con aproximadamente 0,025% a aproximadamente 0,1% en peso del plasma de un copolímero de etileno y anhídrido maleico, de polielectrolito reticulado y soluble en agua, que contiene grupos funcionales, pendientes de dialcohilo inferior-aminoalcohilo inferior, con lo cual se adsorben selectivamente los factores II, IX y X por medio del copolímero de polielectrolito con exclusión substancial de los factores VII y VIII que no son adsorbidos y permanecen en el plasma líquido.
