Abstract
Aparato para aplicar un recubrimiento lubricante a artículos de vidrio recién formados que se encuentran en proceso de ser recocidos en un horno de recocido del tipo en que los artículos están dispuestos en filas y columnas sobre un transportador de correa porosa de horno de recocido y se encuentran todavía a una temperatura comprendida entre aproximadamente 93,3ºC y 204,4ºC, cuyo aparato comprende: una sección de enfriamiento ecualizadora que rodea a una sección del transportador; medios para mover los artículos a través de la sección de enfriamiento, incluyendo dicha sección de enfriamiento una soplante para hacer circular aire en torno a los artículos; medios para introducir aire ambiente al lado de entrada de dicha soplante en cantidades controladas, dependientes de la temperatura del aire dentro de la sección de enfriamiento; medios para generar una niebla de un material de recubrimiento orgánico, no metálico, seleccionado del grupo que consiste en poliolefinas, ácidos grasos y sus derivados; medios de tubo para transportar la niebla desde el generador en una trayectoria ascendente vertical de al menos 30 cm; y medios para introducir la niebla transportada en el aire en circulación dentro de la sección de enfriamiento, para aplicar así un recubrimiento lubricante a los artículos de vidrio a medida que pasan a través de la sección del horno.
