Abstract

Composiciones resinosas y especialmente a un método de preparación de composiciones resinosas impregnantes sin disolvente. Se describe resinas de epoxi-estireno-anhídrido, útiles para la impregnación a presión de vacío de bobinas de motores y generadores aisladas con mica. Estas resinas utilizan compuestos azo y peróxidos como catalizadores para su curado. Estas resinas proporcionan un impregnante de baja viscosidad, con excelentes propiedades eléctricas y de almacenamiento, pero requieren un curado final de 16 horas unos 150ºC para proporcionar unos valores del factor de potencia de alrededor del 10 al 13% a 150 ºC. El curado de alta temperatura puede producir la deslaminación de la mica de los conductores de cobre, debido a la diferencia de sus características de expansión térmica. Un curado prolongado a temperatura más baja aumenta la energía necesaria y disminuye la velocidad del programa de producción.
