Abstract

Perfeccionamientos en frenos de tambor para vehículos automóviles, del tipo comprenden, un par de zapatas del freno destinadas a ser empujadas contra un tambor rotatorio por un accionador hidráulico previsto entre los primeros extremos adyacentes de las zapatas, medios de anclaje situados entre los otros extremos de las zapatas, un primer dispositivo resiliente adyacente a los medios de anclaje que empuja a las zapatas del freno en contacto con los medios de anclaje, y un segundo dispositivo resiliente adyacente al accionador hidráulico, comprendiendo este último un par de pistones que se ponen en contacto con las zapatas respectivas del freno y un par de anillos de estanquidad que están en contacto de fricción con los pistones, caracterizados porque los anillos de estanquidad son deformables cuando los pistones mueven las zapatas del freno contra el tambor, creando el primer dispositivo resiliente y el segundo dispositivo resiliente momentos en las zapatas del freno respecto al dispositivo de anclaje, siendo el momento creado por el primer dispositivo resiliente mayor que el momento creado por el segundo dispositivo resiliente pero menor que la suma de los momentos creados por el segundo dispositivo resiliente y el contacto de fricción entre los pistones y los anillos de estanquidad para que los anillos de estanquidad puedan hacer retroceder a las zapatas del freno independientemente del primer y el segundo dispositivo resilientes.
