Abstract

Un procedimiento para recubrir un substrato, que comprende las operaciones de: 1) mezclar una composición reactiva que comprende: a) 30-90% en peso de ingredientes reactivos de un silano terminado en epoxi, b) 10-70% en peso de ingredientes reactivos de un poliepóxido alifático, c) 0-20% en peso de ingredientes reactivos de un comonómero copolimerizable con grupos epoxi o silano, d) suficiente material absorbente de radiación ultravioleta de modo que una capa de 0,5 a 500 micras de dicha composición reactiva absorba por lo menos el 90% de toda la radiación entre 290 y 40nm, y transmita por lo menos el 90% de toda la radiación entre 400 y 780 nm, y e) catalizador para polimerización de epoxi y silano; 2) aplicar dicha composición reactiva en forma de recubrimiento sobre un substrato, en un espesor comprendido entre 0,5 y 500 micras; y 3), en presencia de humedad, curar dicha composición reactiva aplicando calor o radiación a la composición.
