Abstract

Procedimiento de aplicación de un revestimiento orgánico unido a un substrato ferroso, caracterizado porque comprende: (1) formar una solución de una resina epoxi y de una resina de reticulación elegido de entre las resinas aminoplastos y fenoplastos en un disolvente miscible con las resinas pero no miscible con el agua; (2) agregar un agente emulsionante; (3) formar un baño de revestimiento en forma de una emulsión acuosa ácida agregando un ácido capaz de atacar el substrato ferroso en una cantidad que permita obtener un pH del baño de aproximadamente 2 a 4, agua en una cantidad suficiente para obtener un baño que contenga, por litro, aproximadamente 5 a 500 g de materias sólidas de resina, aproximadamente 1 a 5 g de peroxido de hidrógeno y un agente regulador del contenido en hierro elegido de entre los ácidos fosfónicos y del ácido fítico; (4) sumergir durante 5 a 1200 segundos el substrato ferroso en el baño de revestimiento con el fin de formar un revestimiento sobre este substrato; (5) enjuagar con agua el substrato revestido; y (6) hacer endurecer el revestimiento en caliente a una temperatura de aproximadamente 9 3 a 260ºC durante una duración de 5 a 20 minutos.
