Abstract

Procedimiento de depuración de aguas por medio de barros activadosque esencialmente comprende la eliminación simultánea de los productos de la polución de origen carbonado y nitrogenado en el mismo recipiente de tratamientoen presencia de un cultivo mixto de bacterias nitrificantes y bacterias desnitrificantescaracterizado porque se somete a tratamiento los citados aguas limitando la aireación de forma que llegue a alcanzar un contenido máximo de oxígeno disuelto en el recipiente de 15 p.p.m.y porque alternan varias veces zonas aireadas normalmente con zonas que se encuentran en el límite de la anaerobiosis.
