Abstract

L'invention concerne les techniques d'épuration des eaux usées. Le procédé d'épuration faisant l'objet de l'invention, destiné à débarrasser les eaux usées des nitrates, nitrites et composés organiques, est du type consistant à traiter les eaux à l'aide de boue activée, et est caractérisé en ce que ledit traitement est effectué avec addition d'ions ammonium et/ou d'ions urée, et à une concentration d'oxygène dissous comprise entre 0,1 et 4,0 mg/l. L'invention s'applique notamment à l'épuration des eaux usées dans l'industrie chimique.
