Abstract

Método y su correspondiente dispositivo para mejorar el funcionamiento de un motor de combustión interna con una admisión de aire, y equipado con una turbina accionada por los gases de escape, poniendo en movimiento esta turbina un compresor de aire capaz de suministrar por su orificio de salida aire bajo presión, cuando su orificio de admisión se comunica con la atmósfera, caracterizado el método porque, durante el funcionamiento del motor, se señalan las condiciones operatorias del motor, y en función a estas condiciones operatorias, se impone el motor un modo de funcionamiento seleccionado entre un primer y un segundo modos de funcionamiento, obteniéndose el indicado primer modo de funcionamiento alimentando el motor con aire bajo una presión determinada, exclusivamente a partir de una fuente estática, mientras que se mantiene a un valor pequeño el trabajo de compresión producido por el compresor, correspondiendo el mencionado segundo modo de funcionamiento del motor a la alimentación del motor con aire suministrado exclusivamente por el compresor, realizándose el paso de uno al otro de los modos de funcionamiento tan rápidamente como se posible.
