Abstract
Un procedimiento mejorado para la preparación de anhídrido maleico por la oxidación de n-butano, -n-butenos, 1,3-butadieno o sus mezclas con oxígeno molecular en fase vapor a una temperatura de reacción de aproximadamente 250ºC a 600ºC en presencia de un catalizador, comprendiendo dicha mejora, emplear como catalizador un catalizador descrito por la fórmula Mo12PaBibCucXdof, en la que X es un halógeno seleccionado del grupo que consiste en cloro, bromo o yodo; y en la que a, b y c son números desde 0,001 hasta 10; d es desde 0,001 hasta 5; f es un número positivo de oxígenos requeridos para satisfacer los estados de valencia de los otros elementos presentes; o emplear como catalizador un catalizador descrito en la fórmúla II XaMo12PbAscOx, en la que X es al menos un elemento seleccionado del grupo que consiste en Sn, metal de las tierras raras, Zr, Rh, Mn, Re, Ru, Cu, Pb, Zn, Ti, Cr, Nb, Al, Ga y metal alcalino-térreo; y en la que a es un número positivo menor que aproximadamente 20; b y cson números de 0,001 a 10; x es el número de oxígenos requeridos por los estados de valencia de los otros elementos presentes; o emplear como catalizador un catalizador descrito por la fórmula III, XaMo3Pb0x, en la que X es al menos un elemento seleccionado del grupo que consiste en As, Rb, Pd, Cd, Cs, Tl y In; y en la que a es un número positivo menor que aproximadamente 10; b es un número positivo menor que aproximadamente 10;x es el número de oxígenos requeridos para satisfacer los estados de valencia de los otros elementos presentes; o emplear como catalizador un catalizador descrito por la fórmula IV, XaMo12PbRbc0x, en la que X es al menos un elemento seleccionado del grupo que consiste en Sn, un elemento de las tierras raras, Ni, Zr, Ba, Fe, Rh, Mn, Re, Ru, Co y Cu; y en la que a es un número positivo menor que aproximadamente 20; b y c son números desde 0,001 hasta 10; x es el número de oxígenos requeridos por los estados de valencia de los otros elementos presentes.
