Abstract

Procedimiento para producir metacrilonitrilo por oxidación con amoniaco de un compuesto que contiene butilo terciario, elegido del grupo que consta de alcohol butílico terciario, éter alcohol-terc-butílico en el que el grupo alcohilo contiene de 1 a 4 átomos de carbono, dímero de isobutileno, trímero de isobutileno, o mezclas de dímero de isobutileno y/o trímero de isobutileno con isobutileno, en presencia de amoniaco, oxígeno molecular, y opcionalmente en presencia de vapor de agua, a una termperatura elelvada, y en presencia de un catalizador que tiene la fórmula AaCcFeeBiFDdMogOx, donde A es un metal alcalino bario, estroncio, talio, indio, plata, cobre o una mezcla de ellos, C es níquel, cobalto, magnesio, cinc, manganeso, cadmio, calcio o mezclas de ellos, D es fósforo, antiomonio, germanio, cromo, torio, estaño, niobio, praseodimio, wolframio, boro, zirconio, cerio, arsénico o mezclas de ellos y donde a es un número de 0 a 3, c es un número de 0,001 a 12, d es un número de 0a 3, e y f son, cada uno, un número de 0,01 a 12, g es 12, y x es el número de oxígenos requerido para satisfacer los requisitos de valencia de los otros elementos presentes.
