1446537 Oxo compounds F HOFFMANNLA ROCHE & CO AG 28 Feb 1975 [1 March 1974] 8446/75 Heading C2C #,γ-Unsaturated oxo compounds are prepared by isomerization of α,#-unsaturated oxo compounds using as catalyst an acid which is stable under the reaction conditions, which has a pK value of between 2 and 5 and a boiling point above that of the isomerization product, and the isomerization product is separated by means of distillation.
