Abstract

Procedimientos para eliminar óxidos de azufre de una corriente gaseosa, caracterizado porque comprende tratar una mezcla de gas que incluye dióxido de carbono y dióxido de azufre con medio acuoso que comprende el carbono y bicarbonato de un metal alcalino, en la que la relación entre el metal alcalino y el dióxido de azufre es de al menos 2, y recuperar un medio de producto acuoso incluyendo carbonato de metal alcalino, bicarbonato de metal alcalino y sulfito de metal alcalino formado a partir de dicho dióxido de azufre.
