Abstract

The electric coffee grinder has a drive motor in the form of a side arm pole motor having a field coil which is mounted asymmetrically and projects on one side beyond the upright projection of the grinder beaker. The axis of the motor is inclined so that its contours lie within a cylinder formed by the inclined projection of the beaker. This inclined arrangement keeps the dimensions of the motor housing to a min. and reduces the production costs. The motor is pref. mounted in a frame designed as a cohesive plastics part so that resilient bearing elements are clamped in between the base of the beaker and the base of the housing.
