Abstract
Un método para la preparación de un electrocatalizador, que comprende tratar un óxido inorgánico refractario con un compuesto orgánico pirolizable en condiciones de pirólisis, para formar al menos una monocapa de un piropolímero carbonoso sobre la superficie de dicho óxido inorgánico refractario, impregnar después la composición resultante con una disolución que contiene al menos un metal catalíticamente activo, calentar el material compuesto hasta una temperatura suficiente pana eliminar el disolvente, reducir dicho material compuesto en una atmósfera reductora en condiciones de reducción, y recuperar el electrocatalizador resultante.
