Abstract

The distributor nozzle (1) is for use on a coffee-making machine, and enables two or more cups (29) to be filled simultaneously. The unit (1) includes a central reception chamber (8) with sills (23) equalising the flow to the separate outlets (25). An outer skirt (11) is provided to gather and control high pressure emissions, and a gap (28) may be provided between the skirt (11) and the machine outlet casing (6, 26). This gap directs steam upwards and away from the distribution point. The distributor has an inner tube (19) which fits axially onto the machine nozzle (8) and forms the reception chamber (18). Inclined ramps (16), which extend to a point (17) above the lower edge of the skirt (11), lead the divided flows away from the reception chamber (18). The inlet tube (9) may inc. longitudinal wall slits which define the outlet openings and form an auto-gripping sleeve housing the machine nozzle (8).
