Abstract
Procedimiento para la obtención de agentes hervicidas que tienen como sustancia activa compuestos de fórmula II **(Fórmula)** en la que R significa hidroxi, (C1-C10) alcoxi, (C1-C6) alquiltio, (C2-C4) alqueniloxi, ciclopentoloxi, un radical de fenoxi o de feniltio sustituido una o dos veces eventualmente con halógeno, benciloxi, benciltio o O-Kat, siendo Kat el catíon de una base inorgánica y orgánica, caracterizado porque para obtener dichos compuestos se hace reaccionar 4-(2''-clor-4''-brom)-fenoxi fenol con éster de bajo peso molecular del ácido -halogen-propiónico en presencia de un agente fijador de ácido, y si se desea, se trata el éster obtenido con un ácido halogenante y el cloruro de ácido obtenido se transforma mediante reacción con alcoholes o mercaptanos, sustituidos convenientemente, en los compuestos de la fórmula II con otro R sustituido.
