Abstract
Un procedimiento mejorado para la separación de parafinas normales a partir de una corriente de alimentación que contiene una mezcla de parafinas normales e isoparafinas junto con hidrocarburos aromáticos, procedimiento que emplea un adsorbente que comprende una zeolita selectiva con respecto a la forma y que comprende las etapas de: (a) poner en contacto dicho adsorbente con dicha alimentación en condiciones de adsorción para efectuar la adsorción selectiva de las parafinas normales y de una porción de los hidrocarburos aromáticos por el adsorbente; (b) retirar una corriente de refinado que comprende las isoparafinas adsorbidas menos selectivamente de dicho adsorbente; (c) poner en contacto dicho adsorbente con un material desorbente en condiciones de desorción para efectuar la desorción de las parafinas normales de dicho adsorbente; (d) separar de dicho adsorbente una corriente de extracto que comprende parafinas normales; y, (e) hacer pasar al menos una porción de dicha corriente de extracto a un medio de separación y separar en éste, en condiciones de separación, las parafinas normales del material desorbente, cuya mejora comprende utilizar una operación de desorción en dos etapas, que comprende las etapas de: (i) poner en contacto en primeras condiciones de desorción dicho adsorbente con un primer material desorbente para efectuar la desorción de dichos hidrocarburos aromáticos de la alimentación; (ii) retirar una primera corriente de extracto que comprende dichos hidrocarburos aromáticos de la alimentación y dicho primer material desorbente de dicho adsorbente; (iii) poner en contacto en segundas condiciones de desorción dicho adsorbente con un segundo material desorbente para efectuar la desorción de las parafinas normales; (iv) retirar una segunda corriente de extracto que comprende parafinas normales y segundo material desorbente de dicho adsorbente; y (v) hacer pasar al menos una porción de dicha segunda corriente de extracto a un medio de separación y separar en éste, en condiciones de separación, las parafinas normales de dicho segundo material desorbente.
