Abstract

Procedimiento para producir un artículo de vidrio decorado con un revestimiento protector sobre la decoración, caracterizado porque comprende las fases de aplicar a una parte de la superficie del articulo una decoración de una tinta termoplástica que es sólida a la temperatura ambiente pero que se hace semifluida cuando se calienta, aplicándose la tinta a una temperatura a la que se encuentra semifluida, encontrándose el articulo a temperatura inferior a la que la tinta se solidifica rápidamente cuando se pone en contacto con el articulo ;recubrir con un material de revestimiento polimérico finamente dividido el articulo decorado sobre la tinta situada en el mismo siendo el citado material de revestimiento una resina que se funde a una temperatura superior a la temperatura a la que la tinta se hace semifluida; calentar el articulo con la tinta y la resina sobre el mismo a una temperatura a la que la tinta se pone semilíquida y la resina se funde formando una película lisa y continua sobre el articulo y uniéndose por fusión a la tinta; y enfriar el articulo recubierto y decorado.
