Abstract

Improved paper gluing method by paper treatment with a reinforced rosin-based gluing dispersion characterized in that the dispersion consists by weight essentially of: (A) from about 5% to about 50% of a rosin component containing rosin reinforced, (B) from about 0.5% to about 10% of a water soluble cationic resin based dispersing agent, and (C) water up to 100%, and further characterized in that the cationic resin dispersing agent is: (i) a water soluble polyamine polyamide-epichlorohydrin resin, (ii) a water soluble alcohol poly (polyamine) epichlorohydrin resin or (iii) a water soluble poly (diallylamine) -epichlorohydrin resin.
