Abstract

1348682 Paper BALM PAINTS Ltd 19 April 1971 [31 March 1970] 25750/71 Heading D2B [Also in Division C3] In the manufacture of paper, granules of an amino resin e.g. a urea-formaldehyde or melamine-formaldehyde resin, having a poroustype of structure (see Division C3), are used as low-density fillers and opacifiers. In Example 11, granules of urea-formaldehyde are added to a wood pulp slurry, and after beating and dilution with water fed into a paper making machine.
