Procedure for recrystallization annealing of brass semi-finished products; characterized in that the annealing of the possibly degreased semi-finished product is carried out, maintaining a temperature range between 350 and 600ºC, preferably 430-530ºC in a hydrogen-nitrogen atmosphere that has a hydrogen content of 3-99.5%, a carbon dioxide content of less than 0.08%, water vapor content of less than 0.01%, oxygen content of less than 0.001%, carbon monoxide content of 5% maximum and nitrogen content which completes the sum of these values up to 100.
