Abstract
1367753 Annealing brass P EBNER 26 Feb 1973 [3 July 1972] 9388/73 Headings C7A and C7N Semi-finished brass stock is recrystallisation annealed at 350-600 C in an atmosphere containing 3 to 99À5% hydrogen, less than 0À08% carbon dioxide, less than 0À01% water vapour, less than 0À001% oxygen up to 5% carbon monoxide and balance nitrogen. A preliminary degreasing operation may be carried out by heating at 250-400 C in vacuum.
