Abstract

Pressurized fluid-driven rotary actuator, characterized in that it comprises a casing housing having a substantially arched cavity therein, a shaft extending through said casing casing coaxial with the axis of said arcuate cavity, a mobile mounted pallet in said cavity defining a chamber on each of the sides of said vane, said vane being operatively connected with said shaft and extending radially relative to it, a pair of pressurized fluid chambers located respectively in said chambers, each having of said pressure fluid chambers an end portion with a closed end respectively associated with opposite surfaces of said vane, each of said pressure fluid chambers being configured to effect the movement of each of said end portions thereof in a path arched in said arched cavity, for the reaction of the closed end of the s pressurized fluid chambers against opposite surfaces of said vane to effect rotation of said shaft when the associated pressurized fluid chamber is loaded with pressurized fluid.
