Abstract
Improvements in glass molded bodies, covered with multiple protection films, whose films are made of highly polymeric substances, characterized by having an internal protective covering film, formed from an elastic material such as natural rubber, synthetic rubbers or synthetic resins, which are suitable for intimate contact with the surface of the glass molded body and have a moderate adhesion force with it, and an external protective coating film, which covers the internal film and is made of a substance highly polymeric having a higher mechanical strength than the inner film, whose inner protective coating film has such an adhesion force, relative to the surface of the glass molded body, that its elongation latitude is substantially zero in its coating state over the body surface but that at the moment of breaking said glass molded body, it exfoliates from the surface thereof to produce a determined elongation latitude, thus preventing the projection of the broken glass fragments.
