Abstract
Improvements introduced into the superheaters of the steam generators, with a fluid heater and a device for supporting a fluid heater within it, said steam generator being of the type provided with a vertical gas passage with hot gases flowing to therethrough, and tubes that line the vertical gas passage wall at a generally uniform temperature, character, for comprising a first plurality of low temperature fluid heating elements, positioned in said smoke duct; a second plurality of high temperature fluid heating elements positioned in said vertical smoke duct in an upstream position with respect to the gas flow of said first plurality of elements, a plurality of vertical suspension tubes arranged through said duct of smoke, said suspension tubes being supported at a higher elevation and welded to said first plurality of horizontal elements at a lower elevation, said suspension tubes being welded in order to hold said first plurality of horizontal elements in two positions generally adjacent to the ends thereof; horizontal support tubes welded to said suspension tubes passing through the smoke duct in a transverse direction to said second plurality of horizontal elements and immediately adjacent to at least some of the elements, at least some of the second plurality remaining of horizontal elements on said horizontal support tubes.
