Faro para automóviles, del tipo que comprende por lo menos una fuente luminosa que coopera con por lo menos un reflector principal de forma general parabólica de revolución (R, 100) y un cristal muy inclinado respecto a la vertical (G, 110), caracterizado porque unas zonas críticas elegidas (A. B) del reflector presentan una forma elíptica que tiene un foco en la proximidad de la fuente luminosa y otro foco en la proximidad del centro del cristal, y porque la zona central (116) del cristal es sensiblemente lisa, de tal manera que los rayos luminosos reflejados por las zonas críticas (A, B) del reflector.atraviesan el cristal sin desviación sensible, a pesar de su inclinación.
