Silla plegable, con una de respaldo y una parte anterior, que están apoyadas sobre el suelo, que están unidas entre sí y que portan el asiento, y con dos apoya-brazos, que se extienden entre la parte de respaldo y la parte anterior, caracterizada porque a) la parte de respaldo (1), por un lado y la parte anterior (2) así como los apoya-brazos (4), por otro lado, son plegables entre sí, b) la parte de respaldo (1) y la parte anterior (2), están unidas articuladamente entre sí a ambos lados, respectivamente, por medio de una cruz de tirantes (5) móvil en forma cuyos dos extremos superiores se han articulado, respectivamente por medio de un puntal (7 y 8) sobre la parte de respaldo (1) y en la parte anterior (2), y c) los apoya-brazos (4) se han previsto respectivamente sobre un varillaje (6) de palanca acodada, que se ha dispuesto entre los dos extremos superiores de la cruz contigua de tirantes (5) y que puede comprimirse contra el efecto de una carga de tracción entre la parte de respaldo (1) y la parte anterior (2) en una posición estable, en la que la cruz de tirantes (5) está extendida.
