Abstract

Una horquilla de junta universal para trabajo pesado, hecha de metal colado y que comprende un cuerpo de ranura que define una ranura axial para acoplamiento con una ranura pareja de un aparato asociado; dos salientes axiales simétricamente posicionados alrededor de dicho eje de la ranura, definiendo cada uno de dichos salientes un orificio cruzado de soporte que se extiende a su través transversalmente a dicho eje, estando alineados dichos orificios cruzados de soporte; un cuerpo de enlace de saliente que une cada uno de dichos salientes a dicho cuerpo de ranura, comprendiendo dicho cuerpo de enlace de saliente dos porciones de cuello, estando cada una de dichas porciones de cuello unida a uno de dichos salientes, respectivamente, y dos porciones de resalto, uniendo cada una de dichas porciones de resalto a una de dichas porciones de cuello, respectivamente, con dicho cuerpo de ranura; cada uno de dichos salientes comprende una superficie interior adyacente a la porción más interior de dicho orificio cruzado de soporte y dicho cuerpo de enlace de saliente define una superficie interior que se extiende desde al menos una de dichas superficies de saliente hasta una zona adyacente a dicha ranura; y dicho cuerpo comprende además una superficie de transición anular entre dichas porciones de resalto y una parte cilíndrica, teniendo dicha superficie de transición un diámetro mayor que dicha parte cilíndrica, comprendiendo además dicho cuerpo una rampa anular que une dicha superficie de transición y dicha parte cilíndrica.
